Season 2 of Dandadan is officially confirmed to premiere in the spring of 2025, accompanied by a new visual highlighting characters from the upcoming Evil Eye Arc. Fans can view the updated visual below, which revises the original promotional art to suit the Evil Eye theater screenings.
Release Date and Where to Watch
Season 2 of Dandadan will air weekly in Japan starting on July 3, 2025, at 12:26 AM JST on MBS, TBS, and related networks. Internationally, the season will be available on Crunchyroll and Netflix with English subtitles, just like the first season.
Before the TV debut, the first three episodes of Season 2, along with the Season 1 finale, will be screened in theaters under the title Dandadan: Evil Eye. This version will showcase the first four episodes of the Evil Eye Arc.
Dandadan: Evil Eye will begin screening internationally starting May 30 in several Asian countries, including India, Taiwan, and Singapore. North American screenings will begin on June 6, with European releases following on June 7.
Expected Plot and More
Season 2 will continue adapting Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga, picking up from the Cursed House Arc and transitioning into the Evil Eye and Kaiju arcs. The Evil Eye Arc began during Season 1’s finale, and the story will immediately build upon those events.
The new episodes will focus on the Evil Eye, which has taken residence in Jiji. Momo, Okarun, and the others must now take responsibility for protecting him while trying to control or contain this dangerous force, similar to the dynamic between Okarun and Turbo Granny, or Aira and Acrobatic Silky.
The season is expected to cover content up to chapter 73 of the manga, which is still ongoing in Shonen Jump+. The Dandadan manga has released 19 volumes in Japan, with 16 available or announced in English through VIZ Media.
